Tetsuya Taniguchi has been working under the president of Daisho since 1994 and has held various roles in finance, administration and senior management during his time with the company. He has worked across the Asia Pacific, including extensive periods in Japan, Malaysia and Australia.

His broad knowledge of international markets and property sectors, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach, provides invaluable insights and leadership for local Daisho operations.

Belinda joined Daisho in 2015, bringing extensive experience across development, leasing, asset, property and facilities management to her role. She is known for her team management skills and believes the best outcomes stem from genuine collaborative thinking.

Before Daisho, Belinda worked in agency and institutional property and investment management, covering private direct and wholesale funds. As our Portfolio Manager, she oversees each asset’s performance. She is also interested in health and wellness initiatives that elevate the tenant experience.

Gareth has managed premium health clubs in Dubai and London, experience that underpins his ability to create high-performance wellness facilities. At Daisho, he partners with tenants to deliver programs that improve health, morale and productivity, creating spaces that people genuinely want to use.

Gareth’s strengths lie in operational management, strategy and calm leadership under pressure. He is driven by innovation and takes pride in building frameworks that deliver measurable results and commercial success. For Gareth, the most rewarding aspect of his work is seeing tenants engage with wellness initiatives and witnessing first-hand how they transform workplace culture.

Robert began his career with Daisho in 2015. With over two decades of experience across Brisbane and London markets, he specialises in asset and property management and leasing strategy. Robert has experience developing and managing tenant relationships with businesses of various sizes, including multiple long-term ASX 100 tenants. Prior to joining Daisho, Robert held roles within a commercial property agency and boutique property investment groups.

Known for his client-centred approach and attention to detail, he ensures that Daisho’s tenant partners receive exceptional support, communication and solutions.

Robert Atkins
Property Manager

Since 2018, Martin has overseen Daisho’s technical operations, ensuring building systems and infrastructure run smoothly and projects meet business objectives. With a trade background in mechanical engineering and almost 30 years in property management, he brings deep technical knowledge and a keen eye for detail.

Martin has worked with both private and public agencies and is motivated by creating environments that tenants can rely on long term. He values Daisho’s commitment to looking after clients’ current and future needs.

Technical Services Manager

Rose has been with Daisho since 2005, managing daily office operations, administration and much of the company’s accounting. She is often the first point of contact for employees, clients and visitors, and is valued for her approachable manner and reliability.

With a background as an operations manager for a Japanese company for 15 years, Rose brings more than three decades of experience working with Japanese organisations. She has lived and studied in Japan, speaks the language fluently and maintains strong cultural ties.

Rose Sopena
Office Administrator

Nitai joined Daisho in 2022, bringing expertise in facilities management, compliance and project delivery. He is responsible for IT and technology upgrades, while also building expertise in sustainability rating tools and operational performance, including NABERS and Green Star systems.

Prior to Daisho, Nitai worked in commercial photography and retail facilities, including roles with Apple and IKEA, where he developed his people and problem-solving skills. He finds projects such as the Wellness Club particularly meaningful as they set new benchmarks in tenant wellbeing.

Senior Facilities Manager

Maritza joined Daisho in 2024 after working as part of the on-site cleaning services team, which provided her with unique insights into operations and tenant needs. She is proactive, detail-oriented and skilled in coordinating contractors and stakeholders, making her a reliable point of contact for both colleagues and clients.

Transitioning into facilities management has been one of her proudest achievements, and she enjoys being part of a positive and collaborative work environment.

Vince joined Daisho in 2025 with more than 10 years’ experience in facilities management across student housing and sporting facilities. He specialises in technical systems such as BMS, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and has a particular interest in innovation, building controls and data-driven maintenance.

Before Daisho, Vince managed big projects such as replacing a hockey pitch at Melbourne Sports Centres, honing his project delivery skills. Vince is known for approaching problems from multiple angles to find effective solutions.

With a background in aviation and experience across several world-class airlines, Helena brings extensive expertise in communication, negotiation and cross-cultural engagement. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds in fast-paced environments.

Helena is conversant in multiple languages and connects easily and respectfully with clients and colleagues, delivering a seamless service experience. Calm and composed, she brings her balanced approach to the development of human-centred spaces that prioritise wellbeing.
